What Type of Computers are Used in Technological Services

A computer is an electronic device that can receive set of instructions is called a program, and then carry out this program by performing calculations on the numerical data. Computer is nothing but the combination of Hardware and Software. Here

Hardware : The physical computer and its components are called hardware. Includes memory that stores data and program instructions. (Central Processing Unit (CPU) that carries out the program instructions)

Software : The program that run the computer is called software. It is generally designed to perform a particular type of task.

Types of Computers :

Computers are mainly divided into two types, they are Analogue Computers and Digital Computers.

Analogue Computers : These kind of computers are exploit the mathematical similarity between physical interrelationships in certain problems, and employ electronic or hydraulic circuits to simulate the physical problem.

Digital Computers : These kind of computers used to solve problems by performing calculations and by dealing with each number digit by digit. 

Hybrid Computers : Installations that contain elements of both digital and analogue computers are called Hybrid Computers. These kind of computers are usually for problems in which large numbers of complex equations., like time integrals are to be computed.
